“And the way they roll, just rebels without a cause, with no place to go.”-Lupe Fiasco
Oye. I can’t believe it’s Monday already. I finally got my Body by Bethenny DVD in the mail on Friday. I was so anxious to do it, but waited until yesterday to try it out. I went for a run in the morning and then decided to do the yoga portion to stretch out later in the evening. My run went pretty well. This past week wasn’t the best for my running, mostly because I think I’m still recovering from the holiday. Once I get into that holiday relax mode, it takes a little bit for me to get out of it. Fortunately, I ran a nice 7-mile route yesterday and got back into my groove. After a day of shopping with the Joe-ster, I decided to do some Bethenny to wind down. It was a 40 minute yoga session, with a few extra workouts at the end. It was super easy to follow and I even broke a tiny sweat during some of the sequences. I love Bethenny, so her added commentary definitely gave the workout a little spice. Body by Bethenny is definitely going to be a part of my weekly routine. Some days after work, the last thing I want to do is head to a studio or gym, so having the at-home workout option is awesome.
On a semi-related note, I have tons of money in gift cards for sporting good stores that I don’t know what to do with. Santa was good to me (almost too good) and stuffed my stocking with plenty of running-related goodies. Joey and I tried to go shopping yesterday so I could use them up, but I was far too indecisive to spend them. A part of me is waiting until warmer weather hits to get new gear. Winter gear is so blah. Plus, I need a bigger closet before I can stuff more Nike into it. Just another #runninggirlproblem to add to the list.
Bethenny won me over with her margaritas and now she’s got me with her workouts. Are there any fellow Skinnygirls out there who use/love Body By Bethenny?!
