Nails for Breakfast, Tacks for Snacks

“And with the way you’ve been talking, every word gets you a step closer to hell.”-Panic! At the Disco

The other day my sister was laughing at me because I hadn’t grocery shopped in a few days, so my fridge and cabinets were pretty bare. The only things that I had left were iced coffee, yogurt, and peanut butter. But it got me thinking: those three things are pretty much the staple of my existence. If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter, you know that I’m a caffeine and Greek yogurt feign. But which two brands could I practically own part of for all the money I invest in? Easy peasy: RealBeanz and Chobani.

photo (3)I eat Greek yogurt, specifically Chobani, every single day (sometimes multiple times a day). It’s perfect because you can mix a million different things with it. Usually, I’ll mix it with fruit, granola, and/or nuts. The more you toss in it, the better it gets. Lately, I’ve been addicted to blueberry yogurt, with almonds and bananas. Or the Vanilla Chocolate Chunk with strawberries, cashews, and coconut. Oh man, my mouth is watering just talking about it. When I say that I can eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, I mean it (and usually do).

A couple summers ago, I went to visit a friend in New York City. It was the middle of the day, hella hot outside, and I was in dire need of coffee. We stopped into this little shop and I grabbed a bottle of iced cappuccino. I was instantly addicted to RealBeanz. All natural, completely yummy, enhanced with good nutrients. I searched high and low for it, but the stores that it was available in were limited and too far of a drive from Philly. BUT THEN, I discovered that I could order it online and have it delivered to my house. Hello, heaven! There is nothing like seeing that package show up on my door step.

So on any given day, if you come into my apartment, I can guarantee that Chobani and RealBeanz will be stocked and ready for your enjoyment in the fridge. Stop by any time. My door is always open 🙂
