“Drop the tailgate down on a turn road, watch the corn grow. Baby that’s a good night.”-Jason Aldean
Oh hello there. Happy Monday! Please tell me that you’re feeling the aftermath of a sugar overload this weekend too. My legs were so heavy this morning when I went running. I blame it on all the junk I ate this past weekend. Crappy diet=crappy run. I’m in detox for the rest of the week, so that means no sugar for me. But, on the bright side, I got to run in shorts this morning. WOOO! It was a perfect 45 degrees when I set out on Kelly Drive. It doesn’t get any better than that at 6am, let me tell you.
Now that the weather is finally getting consistently nice, country music is starting to fill up my speakers. I don’t wanna say I’m a huge country fan, but when the summer rolls around, I am always in the mood for it. This song has been in my weekly rotation since those warm days were teasing us a few weeks back. I can’t wait for warm weather, cut-offs, tan lines, and tequila on the beach. Thoughts of those things together are gonna get me through Monday. Spread the love, y’all!
