“She’s got eyes of the bluest skies.”-Guns n Roses
Good morning & happy Friday, you guys. Today is a super special day for me. My god-daughter, Margo Adelle, turns 3! It seems like just yesterday I was rushing home from the shore because Katie called and said she was going into labor. From the second I laid eyes on Margo and smelled that sweet little head of hers, I was head over heels in love. She’s had me wrapped around her finger since. I can hardly believe that my little lovebug can now carry on phone conversations with me. Nothing makes my day more than hearing her voice on the phone saying: “Hi my tottie!”. She’s so sweet and I can’t wait to spoil her rotten this weekend.
I was up bright and early this morning for the millionth time. My sleep schedule has been completely off for the past month or so. Next week will be spent getting myself back on a schedule because I’ll be starting a new job soon! I accepted a new marketing position with a company in Wilmington. I’m beyond excited for this opportunity to make this career move. I love the feeling of fresh starts and new beginnings (and a sweet new planner to use).
I really tried to kick my butt this morning, since I know all I’ll be doing at home is maybe a run on Saturday. Here’s what I did:
- Lunges: 20 each leg, 3 sets
- Hamstring push ups: 40 reps, 3 sets
- Calf raises: 50 reps, 3 sets
- Squats: 30 reps, 3 sets
- Arms circles: 100 each (forward and back)
- Tricep Dips: 30 reps, 3 sets
- Superman+pulse:Hold 10 seconds, pulse 10 seconds, 10 sets
- Bird Dog+pulse: Hold 10 seconds, pulse 10 seconds, 10 sets
- V-ups: 20 reps, 3 sets
- Crunches: 30 reps, 3 sets
- Bicycle crunches: 60 reps, 3 sets
Oh and on a side note: sorry for changing the blog theme again. I had some serious a.d.d. yesterday and really missed that header, so we’re back to where we started. Have a fantastic weekend, yous guys! Cheers to the freakin weekend 🙂
