“I believe that the road that people lead helps you find the one you need.”-The Jonas Brothers
Yes, you read right. We’re listening to the Jo Bros this morning. What better way to kick off hump day. Am I right? They may be one of my favorite guilty pleasures. Speaking of guilty pleasures, here’s a couple of things I’ve been loving this summer.
- Erin Condren. I told you on Friday how excited I am to start my new job. Half the reason I’m so hype is because a new job means new supplies. My favorite office supply, you ask? A good planner. Nothing puts a smile on my face quite like a brand spanking new planner to fill with dates and tasks and notes. I came across Erin Condren and was nerding out for almost an hour on her site. Here’s the planner I chose. SO freakin’ cute.
- Nike Free Flyknits. Oye. Don’t even get me started on these bad boys. I went to Philly Runner yesterday and tried a pair of these on. Hands down, the biggest mistake I’ve made all week. I fell madly in love with the way they hugged my feet. They are the perfect cross training/lifting shoes. You all know I’m an Asics advocate when it comes to running shoes. But I love lifting in some Frees. These babies will be in my closet soon. Trust me.
- Nuun. Even though it’s been a lot cooler here in Philly, staying hydrated is still important. I drop one of these tablets in my water after a run, a workout, or whenever I feel like I need a little boost. I really love the watermelon, tropical, and lemon lime flavors. I snagged a variety pack here.
- Modern Vampires of the City. Even though this album is a couple of months old, I’m still listening to it like it was released yesterday. I got into Vampire Weekend my freshman year of college. Listening to them makes me feel like I’m back in college, living the most carefree of lives. My favorite song off of Modern Vampires is definitely “Everlasting Arms”. Such a good song for a night spent rocking on the porch with a mason jar of margaritas.
Share some of your summer favorites with me. I’m always looking for new schwag and sounds 🙂
