“It clouds up in the city, the weather man complains, but where I come from, rain is a good thing.”-Luke Bryan
Woah, Wednesday. I apologize for missing my usual Monday post but I’ve been running around like a chicken with my head cut off before I start work. There’s way more to be done than I ever imagined. So anyway, let’s catch up (over a nice cup of Starbucks, eh?).
Blake Shelton was oh SO good. The weather was nice, the beer was extra cold, and he played all my favorite songs. What more could you ask for? I’m kind of sad to be seeing all of these summer country concerts coming to an end. At least I have the thought of seeing Jason Aldean next weekend to get me through. Hubba hubba.
And of course I’ve had some sweaty running sessions the past couple of days. When I was home on Monday, I had the chance to run some back roads. As much as I love the city, running through the country is so fun. It’s just a different kind of free. I’ve been getting back into my usual schedule of waking up at the butt crack of dawn to workout. I’m thinking that I’ll get my weight training done in the morning and then my cardio/running at night. At least until day light savings time hits and it’s dark at 5. Then I’ll be stuck running in the dark, regardless. I guess that means one thing: more neon 🙂
Here’s what my morning looked like. Love me some squats!
I’m off to Avalon for a couple of days. Happy hump day everyone!
