Holy hump day. Even though it feels like a Tuesday, I’m beyond thrilled that it’s actually Wednesday. Yesterday kicked my butt into the end of next week. After a busy day at work, I was in the gym for a whopping 6 minutes before I called it quits. Maybe it was the hectic day, maybe it was the time of month. Whatever it was, I didn’t even feel bad leaving early. Plus, I was super proud of myself for working out every day last week (twice a day 5 out of the 7 days), including the holiday. Sometimes, ya just need a little rest.
I also needed a little motivation this morning when heading to the gym for leg day. Wanna know what I did? I read my own blog. HA! I went back through some old posts for a little inspiration. What did I find?
- 4 sets of 10 reps of calf raises
- 4 sets of 10 reps of lunges
- 4 sets of 10 reps of leg press
- 4 sets of 10 reps of quad extensions
- 4 sets of 10 reps of squats
- 4 sets of 8 Burpees
I guess I know how to kick my own butt, because by the time I left, I was spent. Hopefully today will be better than yesterday. Happy humping 🙂
