Happy Friday! This morning got off to an unusual start, resulting in me working from home. Not that I’m complaining. I’m a firm believer that everyone should work from home on Fridays. It just makes more sense, right?! I’m super excited for this weekend because one of my best friends from my wee little toddler years is coming to visit me. It’s sure to be an adventure of all sorts! On the up side, the weather is going to be nice and warm, so lots of outside drinking will be happening. But on the down side, this weather has not helped my running at all. I guess my body doesn’t handle climate change as well as I thought because I felt SUPER slow all week. I hope I can shake it off and run a solid 8 miles tomorrow. Keep your fingers crossed. Here’s my training from this week:

  • Monday: stretch and strengthen
  • Tuesday: 3.5 mile run
  • Wednesday: 3 mile run
  • Thursday: 35 minute tempo
  • Friday: rest
  • Saturday: 8 miles
  • Sunday: 3 mile recovery

I feel like I say this every week, but I put together a new playlist for my long run tomorrow. I’ve been trying out some new stuff, so we’ll see how it works. I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend!
