Oye vey. TGI-freakin-F. This has been a hell of a week. Tonight, ya know what I’m going to do? Eat Chinese or sushi (or maybe both teehee), pack up half of my apartment, and watch cheesy chick flicks. Mmmhmm. I’m going to be an old lady, and I don’t even care. I have a 10k race tomorrow morning then I’m off to New Jersey to see my better half. SO freakin excited. I haven’t seen my best friend since May. That is far too long for my heart to handle. The second we see each other though, it’s like we’re back sharing a room and RedBull vodkas. I can’t wait! But before I can go and have some dirty Jersey fun, let’s recap the week of training:

  • Monday: Early AM circuits & 3-mile PM run
  • Tuesday: 40 minute tempo run
  • Wednesday: Early AM strength+spin
  • Thursday: 4 mile run
  • Friday: Strength+cross training (this was a suggested rest day…ooops)
  • Saturday: 10k race
  • Sunday: REST

Two rest days is rare, but it’s what Hal called for. So what Hal says goes. I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend ahead of them 🙂
