TGIF! This week was long and rough. I’m looking forward to an intense leg workout, a nice bubble bath, and a relaxing night at home with my loves. Since I have off on Monday (YAY long weekend!), I’ve made lots of plans. There will be a house full of visitors tomorrow for the SJU vs. Penn game. I can’t wait for the pre-game festivities, and to see the Hawk flappin his wings all night.
I was talking to one of my best friends and fellow fitness junkie yesterday and telling him how one of my goals is to not lose motivation to train as hard when I’m not training for a race. For some reason, my motivation to really push myself seems to dwindle when I haven’t registered for a race. I really want to outgrow this and enjoy training for the sake of improving myself, not just for a race. He’s sending me a new workout routine to keep me pushing myself and I can’t wait to share it with you. I’m hoping that it helps me to keep from getting bored and plateauing. Anyone else have this problem?
