IMG_7092Ahhh Memorial Day Weekend is FINALLY here! The weekend I’ve been waiting for all winter long. The kick-off of my favorite season. Birthday season. Beach season. Beer by the bay season. The absolute best season. I have lots of plans to celebrate this weekend and can’t wait to share them all with you!

I’m honored to be able to participate in Team Red, White, and Blue’s “21 Guns” WOD with Warriors. As much as I love to celebrate Memorial Day down the shore, I never forget the real reason for this holiday. I have family members and countless friends who have served and are still serving in the military. Not a day goes by that they aren’t on my mind. By participating in Team RWB, I can give back to those who have served this country in the best way I know how-working out. If you haven’t checked out Team RWB’s website and considered getting involved, I hope after reading this you do. Here’s what my week in training looked like:IMG_7104

  • Monday-spin class
  • Tuesday-AM lower body circuits+PM 3-mile run
  • Wednesday-AM upper body& abs circuits
  • Thursday-AM WOD with Warriors+PM 8x400s
  • Friday-AM abs+PM 4.5-mile run
  • Saturday-Lower body circuits+back-to-back spin class
  • Sunday-4-mile run on the beach ❤
