“I wanna love somebody, wanna feel their love on me.”-Niykee Heaton
Good morning loves! Sorry it’s been so long since I’ve posted but after I got back from Marco Island, it was hell trying to catch up on work and workouts. It looks like this week is gonna be another busy one, with a pretty gorgeous looking end–a Friday evening with Luke Bryan. I can’t even wait to see that beautiful being serenade/dance in front of my face. Hubba hubba. Anywho, we have lots to catch up on, so let’s get started!
I took off for Marco early on Saturday morning. We got there, tossed on our bikinis, grabbed a beer, and spent the rest of the day in the sun. The weather was gorgeous, really hot and humid, but absolutely beautiful. We took the boat out on Monday, got caught in a storm, and had to be rescued by the Coast Guard, BUT, it was such a great way to spend my last day. I can’t wait to go back, hopefully in the fall whenever the weather is less humid and hurricane season is over.
Once I got back on Tuesday, I grabbed dinner with my loves and went to bed early. Since I didn’t run while in Florida (SHOCKER), I had to catch up on the two days I missed. It got in a few double days, and by Friday, I was ready to relax. After work on Friday, I headed to Village Whiskey for happy hour. After that, we decided to extend happy hour a little and ended up at Franklin Mortgage. It was my first time there, and I have to say, I’ve never had an old-fashioned quite like that. One turned to two, then two turned to
three five. Before we knew it, it was midnight and we were headed back to Manayunk. I love an unexpected night out like that.
We’re getting closer and closer to fall and the best way to express my excitement for my favorite season, is obviously to dye my hair back to brown. Blonde was fun but I’m more than ready for football games, riding boots, and spiked ciders!
