Happy hump day babes! Thank god we’ve made it halfway through the week. It’s been hectic and sleepless, but I’m so close to Friday that I can almost smell Luke Bryan’s hot, sweaty bod. I’m less than a month away from my first race of the season, and my musical motivation has gone from mostly EDM to some serious hip-hop as of late. I don’t know what’s gotten into me, but DMX has been making me run like I stole something lately. I’m getting a little worried that I won’t be PR-ing this race, so I think I’m going to switch over to my half-marathon training schedule a little earlier than I had originally planned and get some extra speed work in. What do you do when you need to get fast? Music? More weights? More speed intervals? All of the above? Fill me in!
