Happiest Friday! After my run this morning, I’m more than ready for a fun-filled weekend. I have family coming into the city tonight so we can go see a concert, tomorrow will be spent visiting all our favorite spots in the city (I’m feeling a Cantina margarita and sweet potato fries from Mac’s), then on Sunday, I’m hosting brunch for my daddy’s birthday. The special pancakes I have in mind are to die for. I can hardly wait to share.
I can hardly believe we’re half way through August, which means, November will be here before I know it. My goal is to raise $1000 before I head down south, so I best get my butt moving! I’m asking each of you to check out my page and make a donation if you can. This cause is so close to me and my family and I can’t wait to meet the rest of the team in Tennessee. Here’s what my week of training looked like:
- Monday: PM spin class+upper body weights
- Tuesday: AM leg day+PM 3-miler
- Wednesday: AM 3-miler
- Thursday: AM leg day+PM 30-minute tempo run
- Friday: AM 3-miler+ab circuits
- Saturday: Yoga
- Sunday: 6-mile run
