Happy Mother’s Day weekend my loves. I’m pretty excited to spend the weekend celebrating the lady that is responsible for giving me life (and a killer pair of legs to run with). I was going to surprise her, but she really wanted to know what I had planned. Tomorrow we’re going to Body Restoration for a mother-daughter massage, then doing lunch in Rittenhouse. On Sunday, we’ll do brunch at home, filled with pancakes and champagne. I can’t wait!
It’s been a hectic week, and with the warmer temperatures sticking around, my body is having quite the time adjusting. Three miles felt like six this week and I was slower on my nightly runs. I guess it’s time to start getting up before the sun to get my runs in with the cooler morning temperatures.
- Monday: 3-mile run
- Tuesday: 2 mile easy
- Wednesday: 4-mile run+full body circuits
- Thursday: 3-mile run
- Friday: 4xhill repeats+full body circuits
- Saturday:35-minute tempo
- Sunday: 6-mile run
