IMG_0121Woo Friday! As crazy and busy as this weekend was, it flew by. Like I mean…really flew by. I can hardly believe it’s already Friday and I’m off to see Florida Georgia Line tonight and NYC tomorrow!

The beginning of the week was hella hot, so I did spin on Monday and my easier runs on Tuesday and Wednesday. Gabe is mapping me out a 5-mile loop for Sunday morning and I can’t wait. I’m starting to realize I need to leave more time for recovery between lifting and running because I can feel my body starting to rebel against me. It’s not fun. I don’t like it. Marathon training is teaching me a whole lot more than I thought it would. AKA I have no patience and really need to learn to cut myself some slack every now and then.

IMG_0051Anywho, here’s what my training log from this week looks like:

  • Monday: AM upper body+PM spin class
  • Tuesday: AM 3-mile run (25:47)+PM leg circuits
  • Wednesday: AM 3.5 (29:12)-mile run+upper body circuits
  • Thursday: 5-mile run at race pace (42:32)
  • Friday: Rest
  • Saturday: 8-mile long run
  • Sunday: 5-mile recovery
