Pope-a-delphia is in full swing my friends! The streets are lined with Pope-a-Potties and the street closures have begun. As much as I would love to get up close and personal with Francis this weekend, I’ll be staying away from the havoc and spending quality time with my couch. And Netflix account. Maybe I’ll clean out my closet and get those fall clothes moved in. Oh happy days.
This week went by pretty fast, as I was still in New York on Monday and have been working from home since yesterday. Cooler temperatures are finally upon us and I’m loving being able to run after work without dying of heat stroke. It was almost like magic, as I sailed through a 14 mile run this morning. Here’s a quick recap of training this week:
- Monday: Cross-training and upper body circuits
- Tuesday: 4-mile run
- Wednesday: 4-mile run
- Thursday: Rest
- Friday: 14-mile run
- Saturday: Spin class
- Sunday: 7-mile run
